7th September 2020 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: 15.7 Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Waited for rain to clear so on water a bit after 11 on 5.3m which was about right. Wind increased a bit and 4.7m would have been better at times, though a bit gusty so at least 5.3m planed through any lulls. Waves were about waist high increasing to head though quite close together. Tried front side but still not timing bottom turn right but improved as sailed faster. For a change last ride was best ride on a glassy, sandy wave close to shore so more like pure surfing in wind shadow. Took one ride into bay and sailed out of wind shadow OK as waves not too big. I packed up at high as others turned up for waves on dropping tide - looked to be growing as I left, tired. |
